what happened?

i have a batfish, it just died this morning, healthy naman sya last week and eating pa, but the last 3 days napansin ko matamlay na and nag breathe sya heavily in 1 gill lang, yun other gill nya hindi gumagalaw and closed lang... ganda pa naman nya sayang.... mahal pa

Teira Batfish can grow to 24 inches, measuring from the tip of the dorsal to the tip of the anal fin. Not reef safe, it will eat many types of sessile invertebrates including corals and anemones. Batfishneeds a minimum of a 180 gallon tank with plenty of unobstructed room to swim. They are susceptible to ich.
A varied diet of meaty foods such as shrimp, scallops, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp and frozen herbivore preparations is recommended, and it is best to feed it three times a day.
