ZOAS not opening?

i understand that it may took a bit of time for zoas to bloom coz i just purchased a frag from carti yesterday and it didnt even budge even a bit.how long exactly before it blooms and do i need to do something special to it?

im on my 5th week so i guess its pretty safe to add zoas in it.my water parameters are pretty good.i see coz im jus turning the actinic on not the other one.il try

yup i posted my tank thread and its already on its 3 week cycling period then 4th.now its on its 5th week.most of my corals are being adopted so the only LS i have is my zoa,a galaxea coral which i left off when i hav the others adopted.my chromis,coral banded and a blenny.thats about it.

you can't start cycling with LiveStocks in your tank... they'll just end up dying... maybe you should let them be adopted then start cycling... or put them in another tank, wait for them to be adopted, then start cycling your main tank w/o any livestocks... so your tank won't end up in being worst... IMO... not to be mean, i just want to help...

zoas are the great survivor of reefs, kahit marumi tubig kaya nila magthrive... give it 2-3 weeks to adjust to your water conditions... kasi kung galing carti definetly super dumi ng environment nya... dont add anymore ls for now... buhayin mo muna zoa and other livestocks in your tank and parami ka ng pods...

cool.m not adding naman.just the zoas.coz i just saw it in carti and ive never seen one.i did a research on them bein hardy thats y i took it.i just read though that some people dip them in fresh water or iodine.m just wondering if i need to do that

so much for not adding any more LS.. ...IMO, you are not done cycling and your lights are not enough...the zoas might survive but there is a big difference between surviving and thriving
