How can I identify one?
is this the brown slimy thing that comes out of the coral's mouth?

ang zoos ng corals sa mouth din nila nilalabas. pero IMO ang BJD ay hindi literal na sa mouth ng LPS nanggagaling. pwede ito mag start sa side part ng polyp or ung binabahayan nung polyp. anu b tawag dun? hehe. bsta wla syang pinipiling part bsta sa flesh. mapapansin mo yun parang nag-rorot. to make sure kung kya mo kunin ung coral then smell that part. smells good yun kung BJD. haha! joke. amoy bulok un at mabaho talaga. HTH

naku yun nga yung lumalabas... tsk tsk tsk... di naman siya mabaho pero last time na bagong bili ko siya namaytay yung nasa gilid na polyp and all the other polyps were retracted. naglalaway muna, tapos parang pinkish na cloudy na yung sumunod... pero ngayon sobrang malago na siya, very healthy naman in my opinion, ngayon nag lang kasi para siyang sipon nga pero sa lahat ng mouth ng buong colony lumabas, tapos nagretract si hammer pagkatapos, tapos nag extend na ulit ngayon. ano po kaya yun? okay naman params ko and i dose iodine, strontium and molybdenum (well except for the temp, as of this time it's 31.6, and so far yan po ang pinakamataas. ginagawan ko na po ng paraang mapababa yan.) hee thanks po sa sagot... btw yung gonio may nilalabas din sa bibig nila na brown pero parang pellets, parang tumatae nga e.

mga bros.dont wory about it.been noticing that kind of penomena since iv started reefing, my anemone does that also.just remove it from the tank to to prevent NO and PO swing
