Usually, some coral changes in color to pale ones. It may cause from several factors like depth, salinity, temperature, lighting and parameters. This is an early signs of bleaching, this is common to them. Any of them may get bleach. it may cause by too warm temperature or turbulence of water and stress. You might change it's position and put in other places in your aquarium. You may put it ni less light, if this is not the cause parameters are the problem.

yes the corals colors come back after a few weeks. i got an acan from grahf11 that was a bit bleached and after a few weeks in my tank, its red again! it really just depends on the conditions in your tank.

Yes. Just maintain your tank. Bleaching can be manipulated so your coral can go back to its color. It will repopulate again. Hope for your coral health.

hi tjere...all sponges are obligatory filter feeders, meaning they continuously filter feed the water...is this is a new addition into your tank?... the question is how it is being handled from collection from the wild and into your tank. sponges are not supposed to be exposed to air at any point of time, if this happens they suck air into their membranes and will clog their system... micro air inside them cannot be expelled and blocked membranes will not recover and this will lead to their demise...slowly killing the poor sponge...just my 2 cents...
