can a bleacing coral return to normal?

I've read a report sometime ago that certain corals in areas affected by warming sea temperatures bleached but then replaced its expelled symbiotic algae with ones that can tolerate warmer temps.so that it can survive. Possible? yes but where to get that replacement algae in the home aquarium? Maybe from NSW.

They can return to normal after they can adapt to temperatures. Some bleaching are due to lighting or too much lighting. Just move them to lower lighting area and they can recover. It takes time but be patient.
