try lang mag diy para magamit sobrang leds and driver. baka makapag setup pa ako another tank at magamit. will be doing this with a fellow south reefer who is an expert in electronics. more on sya gagawa, taga kontra lang ako, hehe

heat sink from t. alonzo


dimmable driver. can accomodate 35 leds during our test, around 18 minimum. enjoy ako dahil may meron na rin kabitan ng fan, hehe

updates since nakapagkalikot dahil walang office.

testing lights before idikit sa heat sink at i-finalize ang wiring:

90 degrees lens on whites


lens on blues


all with lens



ang malufet na box with safety features. decided to separate other parts from the heatsink para safe.








kasya dalawang drivers, hehehe. iniisip ko tuloy na dalawa units na gawin.


next update this weekend ... hehehe

hindi na ako nakapag drill dahil baka batuhin ako kapitbahay, nag layout na lang ako sa isa pang heat sink. 25 leds, 21 430nm and 4 cool whites (yung nakabaliktad na lens sa picture yung white). ayos kaya ito?

updates lang sa 430nm project. completed drilling holes and attaching the leds. next step is to solder the wire, so far dalawa pa lang na solder ko, eto yata pinakamahirap step sa akin. medyo pasmado na, hehehe.

sa wakas natapos din ang wiring at soldering, mapapailaw na rin

tignan niyo yung maliit na switch sa dulo heatsink, astig yan, hehehe, switch to turn on/off the whites


430nm only


with whites, using astig na switch


pagpasensyanhan na ang wirings, mahirap gawin with this design


next step, ikabit sa mahiwagang black box
