Just wanna share my new tank. transfered all the livestocks from from my 1yr old 75gal.

Thanks to all who patiently answered my questions (di ko na iisa isahin sa dami)

BTW bro, san ka nakabili ng rubber O-ring para sa bulkheads? Hassle yan wala ako makitang ganyan.

Sa local store dito sa malolos, na puro plumbing supplies ang binebenta.

40pesos isa, parang mahal nga benta. pwede ka din bumili ng union na lang, tapos kunin mo yun o-ring niya.

Can you post more pictures on all the pipings? I want to see other peoples ideas on piping. Also how many water pumps are you using? and what size are your pipes? Thanks. Very clean sump. Everything is well planned out.

i have 4-1inch drain (1 feed the ats, 1 full siphon, 1 open channel and 1 emergency.)

return pipe is 1/‘2in.

i only use 1 rio 12hf pump for return and 1 12w sunsun wavemaker

DIY strainer for drains that are fully submerged


1" drain pipes (leftmost: open channel, 2nd from the left: full siphon w/ ball valve, right most: emergency, 2nd from the right: feed ats, center: 1/2" return pipe)
For now, pipe with ball valve and ats is enough to accommodate the return pump's GPH

Update

1. Installed my RO unit. 75GPD with booster pump. My unit have an 18 sec. auto flush valve in the drain line. According to the dealer the flow restrictor and manual flush kit is no longer needed because of the auto flush valve. Is that correct?
2. Added more e27 spot led lights. Now have 4x3w blue 30degrees, 5x3w cool white 30 degrees, 1x3w red no lens.
3. Remove most of the caulerpa due to major die off. Maybe due to lack of water change? or due to wrong spectrum of the grow lights? from what I have read deep red/blue combination is optimal for algae. Or due to Vodka dosing(i'm on my 2nd week at 1.5ml a day)?
4. removed the ATS and replaced with a DIY Skimmer
5. Added some soft corals and cleaner shrimp from monching

sea quest 2200 lang. mesh mod w/ 4 layer green plastic screen, with bubble trap sa loob nun 3" PVC.

May mga sobra lang ako gamit from construction project, kaya napag tripan ko gawin yun skimmer. 3" ginamit ko instead na 4" pvc para mautilize ko yun hanging bracket ng queen skimmer.

I'll try to post more pics later kun pano ko ginawa. ginaya ko lang yun concept ng ng space saving RO skimmer.
