@engrchun if algae is an issue, it means you have elevated nutrient levels. If phosphate is too high, in your case I would just use a GFO instead of UV. Address the cause, not the symptom.

You don't even have to put it in a reactor, just put it in a nylon mesh bag and hang it in your sump.
