Guys, IME Nikon D90 18-200mm for a nice decent beginner's DSLR. If you want PNS for anywhere/

everyday use, Panasonic Lumix LX3. Or you can have both Two thumbs up! Enjoy your shooting!

ang important sa slr ay yun lens. get a decent lens. yun body kasi keeps on improving so in matter of time it will be outdated and new body will be better. ang lens di nalalaos. you can use the same lens basta same brand ng camera. so get the camera na marami ka mahihiraman ng lens. if all ur friends are nikon users, better to get a nikon.

i agree with aquareef, Panasonic lx3 very good pns camera.

LUMIX LX3 for PNS, DLSR? you can't go wrong with nikon d90. try to compare your target camera. Don't be too impulsive in buying these gadgets especially DLSR. this might help
