FS: 375g tank plus other stuff [updated 2017]

It is with some regret that I will be selling my big tank that I never got around to finishing.

What's included:

375g tank using low-iron glass (3/4") made by BioResearch
100g sump (regular glass 1/2") made by Mang Ramon
15g quarantine tank
Stand (designed by some rocket scientist over at reefcentral)

375g tank was P80,000
100g sump was about 6k
Stand was about 15k (uses 2x8s, and 2x4s, skinned with plywood to prevent any skewing whatsoever)
Various 2" unions and ball valves

PRICE: P50k (fixed. Please do not haggle as refusal may offend)

This is, as far as I know, one of the very few tanks that uses low-iron glass.

I have had this since December 2008. It was filled up just to test (no leaks!) but that was it.

RFS: Just no time for a project like this. 5 kids, triathlon training, business.

What buyer needs to provide: budget in another 5k or so for your movers, maybe more. I suggest at least 15 people, with glass lifters (try asking Bio-Research if they can do it for you). BUYER takes responsibility for getting this out of my house. If you cannot arrange pick up (and, yes, it's a biiiitch), please do not buy.

I am in no hurry to sell, as this has been here since forever anyway. But if you want a big tank, this is your chance.

If you are a verified and respected member here, payag ako gives. Kahit 5 months to pay (para 10k/month only). Other arrangements can be made -- I'm quite lenient, as long as I can trust you/buyer.

And for those who are curious about my hobby, I'm not really getting out of it. I just think that I will move into a permanent house in about two years (I'm just renting now), and since it can take more than a year for a tank to mature, hassle lang if after two years I have to dismantle it.

(When I do move to my permanent house, I'll probably make a tank this big or bigger, heheh).

the side panels are as green as the bottom pane as well as that of the overflow's ... but then i could be wrong

here's a low iron 3/4" i saved from reefcentral for your reference

Yes, that's the one I wanted... however, Asahi said their iron content isn't as low as that one. Compared to other 3/4" glass, this one is less green.

Asahi said something about too low an iron content makes the glass more brittle. Or at least that's what the rep said.

The sump has darker green glass than the main tank. (sump care of Mang Ramon).

up for the seller.. super cheap to... my tank na a lot smaller than this one tapos ang 3/4 lang ay yun bottom pane ay same cost ng whole package na ito... kung sa side lang sana ang overflow nito, ill buy it myself.... this is a bargain na!

Didn't push through with my tilapia project (not in this tank anyway; built an intensive pond in another location instead).

Again, for long-standing members in good standing, or who have shown they are really part of the community (and can be trusted), I will accept up to one year to pay (post dated checks). Well, 10 months to pay -- P5,000/month for 10 months. All others, cash only, please.

Willing to trade/swap with any of the following items (I/you will just add cash as the case may be); I prefer brand new or mint condition:

Nikon D7000 body only
Nikon D300s body only

(i.e., you can even pay those by credit card from your favorite Hidalgo stores, then we can trade, so it's like getting the tank by credit card).

Talk to me. I'm easy to talk to (or email, which is considerably more preferable).

Another RFS: wife wants me to either fill it up and put livestock in it, or take it out of the house. Busy training for Subit and Camsur (triathlon), so no time to do the former...

2.5feet x 2.5feet x 8 feet.

Stand is 2.5feet width, 8 feet length, and... I forgot how tall it was... but it's tall (I wanted to see the tank at eye level, and in case I put in a skimmer under, I wanted it tall enough).

and one more thing does the overflow box is internally mounted? if yes, how come it is too low? maybe you can shed your idea about it. thanks
