Hi Guys! I just want to ask for suggestions on REEF safe fishes. I only have 6 fishes for my 120 gallon tank and planning to add some colorful reef safe fishes. I have zoas, lps and clams and already got rid of my bi color angel because he nips at my zoas. I just want to have peaceful fishes that doesnt eat my corals. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the suggestions sir. Na badtrip kasi ako dun sa bi color ko eh. lahat ng zoas ko pinapak at ang hirap hulihin. kaya reef safe fishes nalang ako. kahit ba mag feed ka ng nori everyday kumakain pa rin ng corals yung tang? gusto ko kasi mag dagdag ng HYT at blue hippo eh.

Np bro., well pag small pa blue tang oks lang but pag nag 4inches na sya chow nya zoas mo hehehe as for the hyt depende may hindi merong oo but inip lang nila is mga corals na nagchichip-off yung meaty part

Bi color is not safe talaga. Well halos lahat ng angel hindi reef safe.
Maliban sa flame angel pero with caution lang

actually sir tinitignan ko nga tank mo eh… hehe! meron ka dating blue tang din at HYT. pero nawala din. ano na bang natirang fishes mo nalang ngayon?

blue tang depends on how you feed it. My blue tang is around 4-5 inches but not nipping any corals. simula nakuha ko siya hindi ko pa nakita mag nip.

Tangs and rabbitfishes given their grazing behavior will have nipping tendencies. BT ni roy_gt inubos yellow cloves niya. Yung BT ni lukeskylurker pumapak rin ng zoas. HYT ko rin unfortunately did a round on my zoas. Yung hindi pa local ang binanatan niya. 5x a day ko pa pinapakain yan.

Maganda yung mga suggestion ni bro pot, gawa ka ng wrasse harem, generally peaceful naman ang mga flasher wrasses. Wag lang fairy wrasses.

Pajama cardinal generally safe sa mga corals. Although one time may pajama ako (yung alpha ng group) na pinapak yung isang acropora ko hanggang madedo. I even took a video. Pero baka isolated case lang.

Chromis tingin ko okay sa tank mo since malaki naman. Sa tanks kasi na 6ft or less nagpapatayan sila.

Go for small fishes, tapos may iilan lang na malaki. That way hindi ganun kabigat sa bioload at mas maliit ang odds ng aggression.

thanks for the suggestion sir aarongo and sir seth. napababa ko na nitrates ko around 40ppm. nag siphon ako ng sand bed ko at nag turkey baster ng bato sabay rockscape na rin. langya ang dumi dumi. tapos nagpalit ako ng 75% water at ayun bumaba na rin. pero mag 2nd session ako this weekend ng sand bed at water change para bumaba pa ng husto. nag bawas na rin ako ng bioload as per your suggestion. I only have yellowtail damsel, 2 ocellaris, red coris wrasse and spotted sweetlips. di ko kayang pakawalan ang sweetlips ko kasi ang bait sakin eh… para ko na siyang pet. sa ngayon lumalaki na ang mga corals at zoas ko kaya i think it's a sign that my water is doing ok. kaya reef safe fishes muna ako sa ngayon.

salamat sir yose! oo langya nagkasakit ako pagkatpos ko mag overhaul sa tanke ko… haha! ngayong naka recover na, 2nd session naman. ang tank ko sir is 4ft L x 2ft H x 2ft W. 15pcs 5 gallon containers yung pinalitan ko… sakit sa likod. hehe! regarding sa fishes, puro small na nga lalagay ko at small size din na HYT at blue tang. si sweetlips ko na siguro pinaka malaki kasi napamahal na siya sakin eh. hehe! pero concern ko ngayon is walang kumakain na ng algae sa tank ko kaya namumuo na sila since i got rid of my bi color angel.

maigsi ang 4ft for most tangs, hyt would be your best bet, or any zebrasoma species.
