If you own your house (kasi me construction na gagawin) you can do what they do in Cartimar ---- buried sump. Naka baon up to 3 feet under ground kasi malamig lupa. Plus bato ang sump (cement sealed or water proofed). Pro - malamig tank. low cost maintenance. Cons - high initial capital dahil papagawa mo ang sump. Extra - malaki sump na ganito so malaki sump water so malaki rin water capacity ng setup mo (the bigger the capacity the more stable the tank)

Yung ganito hindi kailangang nasa ilalim ng tank mo. pwede malayo i-pipe mo nga lang. at dapat huwag sa ilalim ng araw unless gagawa ka ng macro-refugia pond. under the sun iinit ito.


Yung gumagamit pala ng cold air fed to venturi, dapat na gamitin na tube ay insulated tubing. Kasi yung mga plastic tubing o silicon e malaki na absorb na heat hence hindi effective lalo na pag malayo yung venturi line-in sa freezer or refrigerator. medyo matrabaho pero pwede yung insulation sheeting na aluminum sa isang side foam sa kabila. Mga P50 pesos ata one meter nito pwede na i-cut ninyo at gawing parang tape na pa-ikot-ikot sna i-balot po ninyo tube na gagamitin. Sana 1/2 " or 3/4" tube gamitin ninyo kasi may kaliitan ang airline tubing.

meron malaking source ng energy para uminit ang ating tanks. ang ating mga pumps! imagine po ninyo ang isang 500-700 GPH pump e may 25 watts (RIO 2100 680GPH) to 50 watts! (Hailea 6530 Pressure pump). para malaman ninyo kung gaano ka-init ito try ninyo hawakan ang isang 25 or 50 watt bulb after a few minutes.

suggestion ko po since basic physics po ito, i-baba po ninyo heat source. Sa halip ng 50 watts use 25 watts. Yun ginawa ko sa Venturi Skimmer ko po. Sa flow or return pump i-suggest ko po gawin ninyo external or inline at huwag submerssible. Inline pumps nasa labas so less heat pumpasok sa tank.

Tipid kuryente less heat pa po.

will this work?

we have a 250g plastic tank, pic below, that we plan to submerge halfway to the river at the back of our house. with the cold water from the river, we're thinking that it can make the water in the display tank cold also. of course the plastic tank is thoroughly sealed. the 250g tank will be braced with hallow blocks for protection. a pump to get back the water to the 100g display tank and just an overflow back to this 250 gals plastic tank submerge halfway. distance of the two tanks is roughly 20 meters.

this project is just in the conceptualization stage. we're thinking that this might be more cost effective than digging a 6ft deep cement sump, water proof it, etc.
