Bro I have now a 300wt power converter (cd-r king ) and AC-DC 12V Converter and 2 unit s BOYU wavemaker 28wt 50hz
I assembled them as per your instruction but unfortunately it's not working properly, the pump turn on and off and the led indicator with the marking of "Fault " on the power converter turn on and off at the same time with beeping sound   Any suggestion Bro

Check your converter source... is it a regulated or switched version? what is the ampere rating of the converter? You should have at least a regulated version and at least NO less than 3amps rated converter.

mine works... either the ac-to-dc converter or dc-to-ac inverter has a problem --- the other way is try to connect one pump at a time and check if the problem still persists...

if you can check the output of your ac-to-dc converter (in DC voltage) and dc-to-ac interver (in AC voltage) that would also help us isolate the problem...

Thanks man, have been into freshwater for some time already, never thought that fish keeping would require electronics too...

Anyway, I don't want to start another thread re wavemaker controller so I posted here: http://www.reefphilippines.com/forums/v ... 5&start=15

Cheers

im not really sure.. hindi pa kasi ako nakagamit ng inverter.. IMO, i'd buy a new pump.. since may madadagdag na power consumption yung converters at inverters.. hindi ko lang sure kung ilang watts..
