Thermal Adhesive

Postby Bitet » Tue Aug 11, 2015 4:43 pm

Hi folks,

Where do you get this stuff? I'm trying to assemble parts I need to build waterfall algae scrubber, don't want to use A/C LED bulbs since it will be so close to water.

When I called up nearby PC Express branches they said 'thermal paste' and they are not sure if they have 'thermal adhesive'. I work in Makati but any other good sources would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

what i did was use the TP under the led and spread it out before attaching it in the heat sink. Because its not really adhesive
i gave it a support with a heat resistant super glue or epoxy. glued the side edges of the led. get it at handy man or ace. HTH
