Help with DIY temperature contoller for cooling fans

Postby Reefing Aquarist » Mon Dec 08, 2014 11:02 am

Hello everyone,

Ask ko lang if can someone point me where i can find a DIY for temperature contoller that can turn on off my cooling fans? Lalo na ngayon malamig panahon and i think sobra malamig tank ko. Still have to buy a thermometer but isip ko baka meron na puwede isabay ang contoller.

TIA :D

20 gallon sump
Reef Octopus NWB 110SSS skimmer
DIY light fixture (32 pc 3W bulbs)

Temperature control ng chiller to.
Meron talagang ginagamit pang heatsink called auto thermal cutout. Dinidikit sa heatsink yun. May required temp yung cutout para mag on and off.Normaly shorted yun. Madami kasi ang thermal cutout for example 40deg. so mag OFF sya kapag na reach nya 40deg. Then pag lumamig mag ON naman sya.

May nahanap ako net puro may adruino. La ako alam sa adruino programming at panu iassemble.

Thanks sir roland and leica for your replies. :D

Best go with Leica's suggestion.

Anyway, another option would be to use timers instead.
Cheers,
Marty
