@zequarine: you can check the driver details on the driver's pic @ the first page
Just saw your location, you're from Bacolod? I grew up there! Kasimanwa!
@singh:
LEDs - got mine from GoDeals and Obet Carlos, both from RP
Driver - iCTech @ Quiapo
Heatsink - Aluminum Shop along T. Alonzo St.
Thermal paste - any computer shop
Others - hardware stores
Wiring, basically:
1. Attach LEDs onto the heatsink using thermal paste (you may need to use supplemental glues to make sure the LEDs stay on, e.g. I used silicon like the ones used to seal our tanks)
2. Connect each LED in a series (you need to have some soldering skills, if you have not done so, try and practice it first on wires), + to - connection (Google for more comprehensive explanation on series connection)
3. Connect correct terminals to the LED driver (check the driver for its recommended LED load)
4. Attach the driver to an outlet (of course assuming that the driver you bought is AC and not DC)
5. Double check everything is correctly connected
6. Say "let there be light," and fire away!
Likely cause if it doesn't light:
1. Wrong connections
2. You didn't solder well
3. The wiring is grounded, e.g. open wires, reason #2
Note: if it doesn't light the first time, don't wait for some time before you unplug from the power source (seconds can be crucial), unplug it right away. This is to protect your LEDs and your driver from being damaged. If it doesn't light, something's wrong, go and double check everything.
It's not really rocket science once you get the basics.
Have fun and good luck!
