DIY High-Resolution Spectograph

Postby seth » Wed Oct 03, 2012 7:31 pm

An easy way to measure the spectrum of your aquarium lights. You may also compare different light fixtures.

http://makeprojects.com/Project/High-Re ... raph/658/1

You can actually make a very simple spectograph using just a CD. But if you want a more precise measurement of the spectrum peaks in your lights, the link above would be very useful.

I'll be posting a version soon. :D

Marty

Here's a nice graph of common light fixtures (some of them are commonly used in SW tanks)

Okay sana ito kaso down yung site. :(

...and more references. :D

Tested the spectrum of commonly used LEDs for our tanks.

edit:

Eto yung mas simpleng version:

http://www.pearltrees.com/#/N-s=1_50250 ... =1_5025028
