para sa finishing ng playwood.much better kong lihain mo muna ng 80 na sand paper.then put sanding seller.let dry.kong gusto mo ng mas kuminis p yun.put some buddy filler yung ginagamit sa mga auto..look for (glasurit)yung tatak.then let it dry.ng mga 1 sang araw.tapos liha uli 120.then follow up ng 240 sand paper.para nag fine yung sanding marks.then put some primer epoxy premer.then yung paint.masmaganda kong ibubuga.gamit yung spray gun.then put clear coat para kumintab. duko finish yan..any paint problem just ask me. hehehehe

thanks for the additional info. although i don't use sanding sealer anymore as the epoxy putty does a fine job already.

ok din wag munang lagyan ng body filler.kaso meron p rin matitira n malalim s play wood.but if you can make the play wood fine.using 80,120,240,400 sand paper it works..ang pla wag kang gagamit ng putty sa any paint works.d magtatagal yun sayang lang pera..matutulap din yung putty use body filler(maselya)yung pang auto.masmaganda yun.patuyoin mo lng ng one day.para di dumikit yung (masilya)sa sand paper.

i use epoxy as a surfacing compound then epoxy primer prior to painting in all the stands that i make.

ok.anong gamit mong pintura sa kahoy?q.d.e. b?enamel?medyo matagal matuyo yun.tapos nakakahilo p yung amoy.maytiknik ako jan.using latex?after putting primer.put flat white enamel.let it dry.then you can use latex paint..easy to use yung latex paint.water bases p..?make sure lang na tuyong tuyo yung flat white enamil.para d absorb ng wood yung water sa latex paint..

yes enamel. i tried lacquer before pero due to fumes tinigilan ko. i don't think magkakaron ng issue when it comes to the wood absorbing water kasi nga epoxy coated na and epoxy based pa yung primer.

polituff body filler gamit namin dati hehe it can also be used for cars. its impact resistant

ok din na filler yun kaso since it's polyester i still opted to go with epoxy.

@trowa... btw, i might experiment on latex.

ay oo naman... ika nga eh sing tigas (o tibay ba?) ng isang blokeng semento.

the thing that worries me about latex over enamel is that they have different bases. perhaps latex would have a good bond over enamel provided that the enamel is well dried and sanded. but then again, teorya ko pa lang yun... will look into it and try it for myself.

this design i think is tougher.. mine was made of marine plywood mostly..

teka, napakapit nyo ung latex paint over the enamel paint?! nagawa ko na ito before but mabilis natuklap ung latex.pag hinatak mo, tuloy tuloy na peel off nya.(but then again, that time i didnt sand the enamel hehe, so baka kaya di kumapit ng maganda ung latex), baka nga kumapit if u sand the enamel first before applying the latex paint.....cge balitaan nyo ako pag natry nyo na hehe
