Been a week since i discovered about this hobby and I so want to set one for me so BADLY. Inaabot ako ng madaling araw sa kpapanood ng mga reef tanks sa youtube. haha. Grabe yung satisfaction so what more if I could have my own. Mga 2 days nako nagbabasa dito and it urges me more to set up one.
I know it is not that easy and not that cheap to set up and maintain a reef tank but I think I can do it with your help.
So my main question is, at this time, how much should I cash out for a 10G or less tank setup considering I have to start from scratch? Probably yung FOWLR setup muna. Anyway I live in Batangas near the sea! Like a few steps to the shore so I think I'll just use NSW for the water. (actually there's no shore. haha. it's like there's a thick wall that separates the land and the sea. parang swimming pool. lol)
It will really help if you can list down yung enumeration ng must have tools and their corresponding price range.
Some stupid questions,
1. Marami kasi mangingisda dito at madalas may nasasama na mga maliliit na colorful fishes like clown fish, etc.
Can they live in a tank since from wild sila? 2. Kapag NSW ang ginamit ko, mas madali ang cycling? Cycling could be as fast as how many days and as long as how many weeks?
3. Is the Hang-on filter also responsible for the water movement? Or may iba pa na kelangan ko aside from that?
4. Kapag may power interruption. Paano? I mean what do you do? hehe
