How long can you store NSW in a closed container? Do you need to regularly aerate the stored saltwater?

i think wala naman issue storing NSW for long periods of time. just make sure na closed yung container and hindi napapasukan ng any form of light. if your drum is translucent or white, better cover it with a blanket para sure na di mailawan. aerate or agitate for a few hours and let settle for a day before using. Of course, test din muna parameters bago gamitin.

yan practice ko, lets hear from others as well.

if NSW, make it 3-4 weeks bago gamitin.. may mga parasites like ich na tumatagal ng ganun katagal.. if you use it without any precautions, you might get an ich outbreak, just like what happened to me a few years ago.. what i did para mapabilis, is papakulo ako ng mga 2-3L.. then bubuhos ko back dun sa 5g container ko.. this is to suddenly raise the temp of the water to kill the ich parasite.. then let the water cool back to room temp before using..

I use blue carbuoys and seal the cap with plastic and is airtight.
