bro no need for a fancy sump. kahit isang 75gal tank lang na may dalawa o tatlong partition pwede na. pwede ring wala . Tingin ko kulang lang sila sa visualization hehe.

nung nagpadala ako ng macroalgae from Leyte 2 years ago, JRS ko pinadala. nasa 120 ata yung one pounder express pouch pag pavisayaa.

Bro, gawa ka na lang ng diagram for the sump, kahit sa MS Paint lang. Kung basic lang naman kailangan mong design, madali lang i-explain yan. Just make sure you have a picture to show.

Here is my plan for a sump. 50 gals lang ang tank ko. The sump will be 18" high but I will maintain the water level to just above 10". The dividers will be 10" high.

Hi again guys! Just an update with my problem…

I just overhauled my tank yesterday.

1. Took out the rocks and cleaned them with turkey baster lang to blow off the detritus. And then did rescaping.

2. Siphoned detritus from my substrate siguro mga 80% na siphon ko. (ang daming dumi)

3. Changed 80% of the water with fresh NSW (perfect parameters ang bagong NSW)

4. Added chaeto and caulerpa 2 weeks ago before the overhaul (nalusaw na ang chaeto ko caulerpa nalang natitira)

5. I also took out fishes and i'm just down to 5.

I tested my parameters after 24 hours and my nitrates is down from 160ppm to 40ppm. I know this is still high and at least bumaba na ng malaki. my question is,

will I change the water again? When and how much?

Any suggestions on what to improve and do?
