yun nga lang buhay sila aipthasia :lol: pero atleast mas madami maprepreserve na life sa rocks. yun pa naman ang binabayaran dun :d

If ammonia shows up, do a large enough water change to get it as close to zero as possible. You need to do this because if you let ammonia concentrations get too high it will kill everything else on the rock that isn't already dying, which will make the curing process last even longer and very likely leave you with some base rock that is devoid of anything but bacteria. The best thing to do is keep up the water changes as needed until no more ammonia shows up. Of course, this is unfortunately the most expensive and time-consuming way too, but it also helps maintain calcium, alkalinity and general good water quality.



mga pre, tanong ko lang sana, sa mga gumagamit ng saltmix, nabubuhay ba ang microfauna nyo? kung nabubuhay, mas tipid at mas convenient na method to. o kaya pwedeng half NSW half SM.

ako i used biomix dati yung sa bioresearch nabuhay naman yung mga starfish at iba pang kasama sa lr. siguro mas maganda yung imported saltmix. mas convenient pagsaltmix ang gamitin sa method na to kasi puros water change e.

ako tuwing WC ko khit mga 20 percent,di naapektohan tank ko,lalo nga gumanda,and kita mo na lalo sila nagiging healthy,pero sera saltmix kasi maliit lang naman tank ko para sure,240 per 10 gallons,

san ka nakakabili ng sera saltmix? yung sa kathrina's na blue ok ba yun? nakasulat kasi dun high in calcium ...how about yung mga yellow sa carti?

tommy kung fowlr ang tank mo pwede na yung local brands... pero kung corals dapat yung imported. si rav888 yata may bad experience using the blue one... ako i use the yellow so far wala namang problema...

how long can you keep a salt water mixture? just keeping it in a storage and not touching it until you need it, is that possible? do you still need to aerate the salt water mixture?

Mga sir, saan po ba talaga pwedeng makabili ng matinong LR? Kay Mang Jun sa cartimar sana ako bibili, kaya lang may mga nabasa akong posts na nagsasabing di daw maganda dun bumili, kasi yung LR daw dun sobrang daming organisms na unsafe para sa reef.

is it ok to buy from cartimar LR..... caue i bought some LR yesterday but im a bit scare because of the die off...

just follow the steps mentioned in curing and it'll be alright, IMO. :D
