A small skimmer like the Octopus BH50 has all the great features usually only found in larger skimmers. The Reef Octopus Classic 100 HOB Protein Skimmer is our entry level HOB skimmer design. The pump on the Octopus BH100 is mounted externally so it will sit inside the aquarium. The BH100 is a simple user friendly Hang On Back HOB skimmer ideal to skim small aquariums up to a 60 gallons. Simply place the octopus bh100 skimmer on the back of the aquarium, mount the pump in place as the instructions list and it is ready to skim. The Octopus BH90 or Classic 90 HOB skimmer is totally a new hang on skimmer, not like your common hang on design, it have a cylindrically main body and use the siphon to feed water in to the skimmer which reduces the load on the pump while increasing the air generated.

This skimmer skims the top of the water surface avoiding the ugly oil buildup on the water surface. A cylindrical reaction chamber, the bubble chamber and conical body to neck transition?all help disperse the air gently and reducing turbulence as the collected organics make it into the collection cup. It is also very easy to be set up. Two adjustable PVC screws makes it could be stably fixed on your aquarium tanks.

The New Octopus BioChurn biopellet reactors are a completely new design. Since the new biochurn pellet reactors circulate the pellets in a circular motion this allows to keep the pellets always fluidized in the reaction chamber.

The Reef Octopus in-sump BioChurn Reactors come with an Aquatrance pump that

Churn” design easily fluidizes large amounts of biopellet media without blasting

Reef Octopus Marine Salt is a new sea salt product. It uses the salt through the solar evaporative
as our raw material; it keeps the main and trace elements content as much as possible, but also to
ensure that the proportion of each component part of the content is close to natural sea water.

Each batch of our raw materials was tested in the laboratory, then targeted to strengthen and
adjustments were carried out to ensure their physical and chemical stability of there-dissolved.
Products made again after sampling, laboratory testing and assessment of the specific use of
qualified sub-installed after the sale.

In order to make it much easier to use, the production was fully dehydrated. The product seems
uniform and perfectly clean .It dissolved fast and stable, with little precipitation. It saves time on
changing the water of tanks.

RO water
Reef Octopus Marine Salt is recommended for use with Reverse Osmosis water or soft water
with a calcium level lower than 30 mg/l. As the calcium level in Reef Octopus Salt is already
enhanced to 420 mg/l then mixing with hard tap water which contains additional calcium may raise
the concentration above normal recommended levels and cause the calcium to precipitate out of
solution.

RO water removes undesirable ions like phosphate and nitrate from your tap water which
otherwise would contribute to nuisance algae in your aquarium.

Mixing
Using a clean container:
Add 1 Kg of Reef Octopus Salt to 27.5 liters of water ( 1 Lb to 2.9 U.S.Gallons ) Mix well until all
of the salt is dissolved and the solution is clear.

To ensure that every drop of salt water is the same, we recommend that you aerating and
churning for more than 2 hours and bring to temperature before use.

Check the S.G. before addition to the aquarium. If it is necessary, add more salt or water to obtain
the correct S.G.reading.

Remember that S.G. changes with temperature.
Reef Octopus Salt recommends the use of a portable refractometer for accurate and consistent
measurement of the S.G. of your salt solution.
