Nag one year na ang "reef pod" ko last June 2009. Di pa ako nag add ng livestock since October last year. Kumalat na ng husto ang Pulsing Xenas ko all over the pod na nakuha ko lang na naka attach sa sea grass sa reef near by.

a closer look at my sea squirt. nakuha ko lang toh sa nearby reef.

Pareng Obet, I guess the constant strong wind helps cool the water since nasa 4th floor veranda kami. malaki ang clearance kaya rin siguro malamig ang water. downside lang ng pond or pod ay fluctuation ng salinity. Very careful ako dito.

A closer look at a patch of pulsing xenia. Super bilis dumami nito. nag spread na sila all over the pod.

A pair of coral banded shrimps. The male lost his long pincher arms for some reason a month ago but grew back again after just 2 weeks. Ok na cya ngayon. Nahuli ko din toh, half ng size nila ngayon. ang lalaki na nila ngayon, a lil' more than 2.5 inches (body only). the male is a bit smaller. Nag release ng larvae yung female before pero wala naman ako nakikita na baby CBS sa rock crevices. Iba feeling mga bro pag top view mo nakikita ang corals and fishes. Very Natural ang effect, that's probably why I ended up with this set-up. Originally I made this pod for live spiny lobsters. Marami din kasi dito sa Palawan.

Puerto Princesa, Palawan ang location ko bro Kuza. Mag 2 years na rin ako dito. Na inlove ako sa dagat dito. =) Ang ganda ng mga photos mo specially yung sa cynarina. 10/10!

RRandygie, pvc ang frame nung pod and trapal na pang marine. ginagamit na pang roofing ng mga fishing boats.Dati meron wooden fence and pod pero nag deteriorate na dahil sa weather and saltwater cguro. I'm planning to construct a tougher wooden fence para ma cover ang sides ng pod para mas presentable. Hehehehe
