i'm pretty sure that i had cleared the glass for both sensor and lamp.

these 10w led bulbs are actually made up of 9 small leds unlike the single 3w piece which ai/maxspect uses. if you divide the 10w among 9 leds, then it's only 1w per led piece. and it is known that 10 pieces 1w bulb IS NOT THE SAME as 1 pc 10W bulb. the answer to every light is that ... does it have enough intensity to drive the light (at least) 18" below the water?

these 10w lamps are floodlights, which mean its main purpose is to spread the footprint as broad as possible. ai/maxspect uses optics to focus the light coming from 3w bulb to intensify it.

I think the comparison is somewhat unfair. The test should be 30 watts LED floodlamp type and 150 watts MH.

yes, +1. but i'm not even sure if even a 30w will suffice. maxspect-g2 uses 2 of those 30w plus a lot of the 3w bulb.

the reason on why i'm using the 10w for comparison is because i saw that there's a lot of people buying that particular lamps and assume that it will suffice for their reef lighting needs.

lets say, if meron akong DT na 24x12x12 15gals, with few softies and some medium light lps, ilan watts ang kailangan to be sufficient?
