WHAT IS THE IDEAL SALINITY FOR REEF TANK?

good day po mga ka RP, newbie po ako tanung lang po kung pwede ko lagyan ng 5 or more corals ang tank ko kahit ang salinity nya is 1.023? my tank is more or less 300 gl. dati po sya shark tank. sana matulungan nyo po ako, maraming salamat po sa inyo... more power sa REFFPHILIPPINES...

1.024 to 1.026 ang pagkakaalam ko dapat ang salinity pero 1.023 kaya pa rin. ang problem mo lang if lalagyan mo ay yung light mo. aabutin ba ng light na mlakas lakas yung corals na ilalagay mo? kasi pag hindi, mag blebleach lang siya and will likely to die if low light ang makukuha niya. HTH

It depends if you have a chiller for that then i would suggest keep it at 1.023 co'z when you compute it. It'll come out at 1.025 to 1.026, but for me 1.023 upto 1.026 is still a safe level for corals. And the most important are your water parameters in check, good lightings to penetrate your tanks depth, and good temp. Around 26degree to 27, max at 29 degree.

And for a 300g tank i don't think you'll be satisfied with 5 corals hahahaha. Enjoy reefing bro

sir yose medyo matagal korin bago nakumpleto yung tank ko, ipon muna tapos bili gamit, tapos ipon ulit hehehe... pero b for blacktip ang alaga ko sir saka stingray, at iil... thanx
