Planning of having a Saltwater tank

Hi there! Im new in the group and im planning of getting a saltwater fishtank my question is..Is it possible to have a 30gal tank and dont have a protein skimmer just planning of a simple set up like live rocks and live sand in it and a couple of clown fishes and 1 yellow tang..that just about it..and if its possible what else do i need to set up my tank? tIA!

pero maraming posts ang mga members na 50gallons and below...

let's wait na lang sa mga kuya kung anung advise nila....

no sump..
Live Rocks...
1 sun sun wavemaker 6watts

1t5 6500k(wala na ngayon, nasa likod bahay na ang DT ko,reflected sunlight mode)
12pcs 1/4 watts small Blue LED's(wala na rin, nasunog,)

feb 2015..i added an OHF..(2nd hand kasama ng DT nuon)
added (sept 2017)skimmer from a member(kanino ko banabili yun?) :)

Its possible not to hav a skimmer.u just hav to limit your feeding.U can try chaeto or ats to help in cleaning your water

30gallon will not be very healthy for any tang. 2 clowns maybe but not a tang. Yes you can make a 30gal setup without a skimmer as per kenn you should limit your feeding and you must do a water change more frequent. Welcome to RP.
