Probidio Reef Booster

Hi,

I would like to get some advice regarding the Probidio products. My water parameters are in good shape, clean tank, and everything is doing pretty good but I am interested to use reef booster to provide extra nutrients for the corals. There are a lot of mixed reviews and many claim that Reef Booster should only be use 6 weeks after Biodigest and Bioptim has been used.
I have a refugium which takes care of my nitrates. Is it ok to use reef booster as a stand alone product or is it necessary to use biodigest and bioptim first.

reef booster without biodigest will make your nitrates and phosphates up. especially phosphates. i believe ref cannot handle the sudden increase in nutrients in the water column.

in my experience even if i am aggressive using carbon via bio pellets and i dose two vials of biodigest every two weeks, whenever i dose reef booster and bioptim, my phosphates are up around .3.

and also... i use bioptim and reef booster only whenever i see my sps looks pale in color due to low nitrates and phosphates. hth

thank you for great info!!!
my brain corals have been doing good with great color but some of the skeleton is starting to show and I am afraid it might be starving or starting to die. What supplement or food source would be good to ensure they are getting enough and not starving.
