please identify macro

hi charles.is this even a macro algae? it just grew out of nowhere in my tank. looks like a red algae of some sort and its growing and spreading. is this good or bad? thanks in advance.

helping fellow hobbyist with their fishy needs.

100g tank made by mang ramon
90+ gallon marine plywood sump with ATS, DSB,LR, canister filter with rowaphos and carbon
approx.30 gallon- 2 section acrylic tanks connected for more water volume and new fishes.
lighting is 6 feet odysea. 8x 39watts HO t5's

I saw this in Grahf's tank, it a has a bright metallic orange color.
