believe it or not since september last year wala pa akong brown out

only incident is yon transformer sa labas namin pumutok (may ng jumper yata sa neighborhood :),peksman di ako!! ) pero it was resolve by itself at mga 15 minutes bumalik,di na nga dumating yon meralco, parang they are upgrading to high tech mini transformer, yon transition these things happens

by the way...psssst meralco is valuable kasi yon lines niya is the future, could be for cable tv,power, dsl, telephone that hindi magawa ng pldt despite copper being old tech  yon network of the existing cables,b the way too high na yon presiyo these days yon stock

back to the topic at hand,i also worried kung mag brownout, what would happen to my 10 tanks.....

anyway got the ideya from joleyns is to use inverter sa kotse tapos extension cord to the tank :)

sa tagal ko ng gumamit ng inverter di ko naisip ito 60 dollars pa noon, ngayon sa CR King less than 700 bucks na lang

ok,so 10 tanks,need a few additional cars...joke lang :D

DISCLAIMER: despite inverters been around a long time and wala masyadong negative aboutit despite mainit sila...parang low tedch na nga nowadays WARNING!! Walang Sisihan kung nasunog yon kotse o bahay niyo

yep, i use one in my set-up but it only gives you protection for a few minutes... at least good enough for occassional power glitches...

jackryan wrote:At Cartimar, one can get the battery operated airpumps for Php 170 only.

There is an enhanced variant that has capability to detect if your AC line is cut-off and at which case, it will trigger the DC battery air pump to activate. This one costs about Php 350 and is either Resun or Ocen Free branded.

This is highly recommended for areas that are prone to electricity cut-offs and also those that up to now, still does not have any electricity because of the damage electrical infrastuctue due to the recent typhoon hit.

But this will really be expensive in the long run...
