Personally, I wouldn't want to stop people from posting bible or koran or talmud verses. Freedom of speech is very important to me. I might be an atheist, but I will defend people's rights to religion.

I am against prohibiting posters from discussing religion or politics, after all, both are a part of our society. But if we're really going to ban the discussion of it, then I would agree with khuran and say that people should not be able to post ANYTHING to advance their religion or politics either.

Again, I'm hoping we do not ban the discussion of religion or politics.

I agree that "freedom of expression" is important, but just like anything else... there should be limitations. As what mentioned in the other thread, this is a PUBLIC FORUM about keeping marine animals, plants, alga, and other lifeforms. It is best to keep it that way.

Anybody can criticize any wrongdoings about El Shaddai, it is a fundamental right for everyone. But has anybody of you attempted to curse (or call bad names) Mike Velarde one Saturday night at the Luneta stadium or Quirino grandstand? I dont think anyone would dare such a thing, unless you're trying to flirt with DEATH.

And besides, any discussion about politics and religion will almost or always ended up in a debate.

Now, if you really NEED to discuss such things, then there are forums dedicated for this...
