how much sugar are you dosing? baka d kaya nung skimmer mo yung dosing mo? i wont recommend buying the azoo ph.. find out what the problem is.. what is your wave maker? baka kulang.. when did you take your pH readings.. your pH would depend also on when you took your reading.. pag lights off, mababa pH lalo na sa morning.. tataas ulit when lights on.. you can add an aerator para tumaas yung pH mo..

BP, and sugar, vinegar and vodka dosing are related. they are all means of carbon dosing.

yup yup... im trying vodka dosing for nitrate and phosphate. can see anything about dosing requirement of sugar and vinegar dosing... can somebody shed light on this? (sorry for hijacking the thread)

Just wana ask y my plastic containers keep on breaking(sumasabog/nagcracrack bottom) when preparing kalk mixture... Naka 4 pcs 1.5gal na ako in less than 2months.maybe the chemicals r burning/melting d containers...so how do i go about this? At this rate mauubusan ako ng containers hahaha

Anong klaseng plastic gamit (grade/type) mo bro kenn? Tsaka pano ka maghalo? Dapat puno muna ng tubig bago ka maglagay ng kalk.

Anyway, gamit ko lang usually wilkins na PET bottle, di naman kaagad nadedegrade... 1tsp per gallon ako.

I bought mine sa Alyson's, ungraded daw. Medyo mahal yung Dihydrite kasi food grade daw, 300+ per kilo. sa ungraded Calcium Hydroxide nalang ako na 45 per kilo. Question, talagang may naiiwan ba na undissolved portion?

magkaiba yung CaOH sa CaCl2.. CaOH is kalkwasser and CaCl2 is the calcium part used sa 2 parts solution.. yung CaCl2 completely nadidissolve at yun kalk is palaging may naiiwan na particulates pag saturated na yung water..
