My chaeto is in the sump on top of LRs, lighted with a 5watt LED (warm white) about 4 inches from the water. The chaeto has grown from about a size of a tennis ball to about the size of a junior basketball. Will harvest soon, PM me kung sino mi gusto

I lowered my chaeto light (3 watts LED), its now 3 inches from the cheato. Light is no longer spread but its concentrated at the center of the cheato ball (approx 4" diameter). and i'll extend the light to 10hrs. lets see what happens

2. Lighting used (brand of light) - forgot the name, I'm at the office atm but it's a common brand in HandyMan/Ace, just ask for a 5-watt LED down light, price is around 450ish
3. Photo Period (in hours) - reversed photoperiod with my DT, sump lights are on from 10PM-10AM
4. Tumbled (Y/N) - Yes
5. Method of Tumble (pump, wave maker) - just in-sump waterflow. Chaeto is in my sump's 2nd chamber
6. When to cut and share? - Around 3 weeks per harvest
7. Optimum water parameters for growth? (salinity, temp, phosphate and nitrate levels) - not sure if mine is the optimum but my tank's params are 1.025SG, 29-30C, phosphate (no test kit), nitrate < 5ppm
8. When do you say its RIP for your Chaeto? (description when its dead or dying) - branches are turning dark brown/darkening
9. Emergency procedures? (When you see your chaeto almost going to die, do you do anything to prevent it?) - take that chaeto out, otherwise it will leach the nutrients back to your water
10. Supplements? (Do you dose anything to maintain growth of chaeto? (iron? carbon?) - none for the chaeto, for the tank prodibio products

try mo tapatan ng pump or ilagay mo siya kung saan malakas ang flow. tapos ilapit mo siya sa may light source mo.

Caution:

If you have turbo snails in your sump, the turbo snails will go to your chaeto and start chomping on it. I have witnessed my turbo chomping on it.

kusa lang bang tutubo tong chaeto sa refugium? or kailan mo mag lagay ng ilang pcs?
