Pls give me a few LFS that sell fish that are hand or net caught. FYI, my 10 gal quarantine tank is already 6 months old so it is through cycling. Ammonia -0, nitrite=0, nitrate- never exceeds 20ppm, coz i do weekly water change and they still all DIE! Mga 50 na yata na isda nabili ko sa cartimar, tepok lahat even if the water quality is ideal. So it's really cyanide that is the issue here. I tried methylene blue kc it could treat cyanide poisoning daw, nakalubog cla sa methylene blue for 2 weeks, yet they still die! PLS help, I'm at my wit's end already. It hurts everytime i see a dead fish in my tank when i wake up knowing I have done everything possible to maintain good water quality in the tank.

Hindi naman lahat ng isda sa cartimar namamatay o cyanide caught eh. Actually, in any LFS hindi natin alam kung cyanide caught or what. Sa cartimar kasi halo halo ang isda at pangit holding tanks kaya pangit condition ng fish plus some of the fish there has ich. Marami kasing misconception na purket cartimar, cyanide.Hindi naman siguro lahat. Pangit lang talaga fish handling and holding tanks nila.

Baka naman nagka ich yong fish or may ich yong tank or sadyang malas lang pagpili mo ng fish. May we know what kind of fish did you buy? There are tons of factors on why fishes die (Compatibility issues, fish that can't adapt in captivity like moorish idols, acclimation procedure and etc.) . I got 1 orange shoulder tang and has been with me for almost 3 weeks now without any problem.

Some LFS that I frequent is Marina Aquaria, Marine Center and Cartimar. I get most of my fish from marine center since its kinda near my place. You can contact them thru 09174455366..

lease, do not post in different places here in this forum. One will do. Mababasa naman yan eh.

relaks lang sa pagpost chief..:D mr gamol is right.. most of the time kasi stressed masyado yung mga isda nila sa holding tanks nila.. ang dami kasi na hindi compatible na isda na magkakasama tapos ang dami pang patay.. i do think na meron na cyanide caught since i have had fishes na kumakain na for a week or two tapos bigla na lang patay the next day.. or pwede din na mis handling by the divers (bigla na lang inangat nung hinuli nila sa malalim).. what i do, before i buy from any LFS, pinapakain ko muna, if it eats, may high rate or survival ito.. if it doesn't eat, maybe ayaw niya nung food, may other signs para makita kung ok like walang gasgas sa katawan, hindi heavy ang paghinga, attentive siya sa ibang isda at sa net.. IME, kung may fin nips, ok lang yun.. mabubuhay pa din yun at mabilis lang gumaling yun..
