@sid: thanks for the links on fragging xenias!
@jackryan:I will take more pics of the plumbing and sump setup tomorrow and post it tom night.I will also list my main concerns re the planning of the tank and how i addressed it. obet_carlos: Will post pics tom. I'm using the cheapest imported saltmix(as far as i know) w/c is Coralife by the bucket (c/o Peter) and change 10gallons(20%) every end of the month using RO water. I use DIY Randy's two part recipe#1 for calcium and alkalinity (plus magnesium).I've been using this for almost 4 months now to minimize on costs( a lot of savings actually) but you have to dose everyday( or every two days-just double the dose) after using Seachem Reef Complete for the first three months pero medyo magastos kaya i looked for other options. Coralline algae grew faster using the 2part system and i'm happy with it I'm looking for something that will help in coloring up the acros although i don't have any problem with growth. I guess they are still adjusting to my MH lighting( any suggestions or inputs are welcome). But i don't have much problem with my pink Millepora. Thank you guys for showing some interest in this setup and will keep you posted!!
The tank is a DIY zero-edge design tank.I just did some research on their website and some other forums to help me in my own design. I found out the pros and cons of such a design and i will be posting it tom with the pics of my plumbing and sump. Sa totoo lang, the tank itself is the least expensive of the whole setup if you DIY. I ordered the glass from a glass dealer based on my design dimensions for about P4,500 and paid an aquarium installer from Carti P1,200 for drilling and assembly(including silicone used and tip)but under my supervision since he did not know what the hell i'm trying to create.Lol The cabinet (being custom made and based on my design) is a bit more expensive than the tank(since it's made of Kamagong hardwood and finished with Zar exterior polyurethane) while the whole lighting setup was a bit more pricey than the cabinet (since the MH reflector is already P4,5oo). So you can see that a zero-edge tank is very affordable as long as it is planned well(to avoid costly mistakes). The stand/cabinet and the lighting setup can always be suited to your own preferences so its really not a factor whether its a zero-edge or not!
Yes bro nasa pinas lang ako dito sa Cavite area. If you really want to see the tank i will be more than happy to show it to you specially if you are interested in how the tank was setup. But if you're more interested in what's inside the tank (aquascape and livestock) then maybe it's better to look at it in a few weeks time kasi i'll be doing some rearranging to have a more focused DT which i hope would be for the better. my# 0917-6245757 or just pm me. Thanks!

. Thanks Randell. Without the the good but affordable equipment and supplies made available by Marine Hub and Aquaria Tech, i would not have planned on making this tank.(discount pls.) hehehe Some pics of the sump and cabinet: Back view of cabinet w/doors closed

the return pipe was designed for the newer 1" SCWD but i can't find one
to minimize noise, i used a lot of smoothly curving hoses instead of pvc pipes and elbows
I have four drain pipes(2 on each side). Two drains empty into the bubble chamber with some live rock to minimize micro bubbles, one empty into the fuge and the last one supplies the ATS w/c then empties into the fuge also.
