Kris 50g FOWLR tank upgrade to 135g tank

Hi RP
I'm new to this hobby and been reading and lurking around the forum for quiet some time now. Wanted to share my tank, please feel free to comment so as to help me improve my setup.

Day 1
Bought 50g tank and stand

Day 2 - 6
Contacted Mang Ramon for 30g sump, plumbing and overflow box. Goods delivered after 4 days.

Bought equips from Ritchie
Jebo 520 skimmer
Rio HF10
API test kit
40kls sand
2bags Blue treasure SM
Resun hydrometer

Bought equips at Cartimar
Sunsun 12w
40kls LR


Day 7 - 9
Bought RO water and started mixing, after 3 days I go this reading from the hydrometer.





Day 10
Added LR then after the sand, also setup the sump and other stuff.



Day 11

Readings 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and 10 nitrate. Hydrometer reading at 1.026 already, added RO water due to evaporation. Also removed the LR under the skimmer.





Day 12

Added 2pcs dead shrimp wrapped in filter pad and tied in the middle of the support to start the cycling.



Day 13

Water is cloudy and tested water parameters.



Day 14

Ammonia .50 nitrite .50 nitrate 80 ph 8.4



I'm hoping that I'm on the right path. Would update from time to time. Cheers!

Nice setup bro keep it up. Wait mo na lang complete cycle ng tank mo before ka mag lagay ng ls pag 0 na lahat para mas stable in future. How's your salinity/sg reading so far? I think medyo tumataas pa ata dahil hindi pa completely diluted yung saltmix, if mag FOWLR ka lang ok na kahit mga 23 sg.

Mabilis ang pag evaporate ng water after 2 days halos 3 gallons na agad na nauubos. Is this normal? Umalat na tuloy lalo ang tubig ko naging 1.0.27 na, mag top off ako ulit mamaya.

I'm now upgrading my tank to 130G, tank will be available on the 21st, will start cycling again after

Planning to add corals very soon, need to invest for an efficient led light for a 6ft long tank. Maybe some fellow reefers could help me plan this out. Thanks for viewing.

Sump ko same as dun sa unang pic 50G setup, 1st chamber overflow, 2nd skimmer, 3rd is return. Yung turbo snail kasi dati meron ako 8pcs tumagal ng 2 months lang kapa bumaliktad namamatay agad
