I DON'T have a tank yet (had to dismantle because of house moves), but I PLAN to have a big tank, which I will start in August, and hopefully be inhabited by SPS by December.

I don't plan to have a chiller, though, but I am going to be ordering metal halide (plan on getting an IceCap electronic ballast and either a Geisemann bulb, and Iwasaki, or whatever IceCap sells -- definitely in the 10-15k range, though).

So... in other words, "coming soon" pa!

Geisemans and Iwasakis 6500K are great bulbs. I use 20,000K Aqualine Buschkes HQI

Is there an easier way to post pics here? Need tips. Anyway, this is my friend's reef shop. Its one of the best in Toronto. Have a look at some rare SPS and LPS he is selling : http://www.reefraft.ca/

Never had any problem with mixing LPS and LPS, my tank is a year and a half now. My circulation is around 19x-20x the water volume.

I did read that some soft corals release toxins that slows the growth of SPS. I just make sure I use carbon once in a while to remove the yellow tinge and for other toxins.
