I have been using Zeo for a little over a year now. The initial cost is kinda pricey but depending on the size of tank you have, a full bottle of the supplements does last a long time. Dosing is daily but does not really take long at all. Maybe 2 minutes a day. The problem I see in the Philippines is there may not be a Zeo dealer. One of the products which is ZeoBac needs to be refridgerated. If you order it from overseas, it must be package in some cooler and sent for a 2 day at the most delivery. Anyways, Zeovit.com will tell you all you need to know. I took some pics of my tank when I started zeo and another after its 1 year anniversary.

Hey there Deuce, very nice indeed.
My point exactly with Zeovit, it is still not readily available locally hence my hesitancy to use it. Too risky to all of a sudden run out any of the key items. Maybe Peter would be interested in bringing this in...

Thanks for the quick reply Deuce. BTW, with zeovit, do you still maintain a DSB for filtration or strictly zeovit alone?

I dont have a DSB. I only have a 1.5"-2" sandbed. No remote DSB, fuge or any macro algae.

zeolite classica is now available in LFS about 70php perbag but i read somewhere that zeolite is useless if used in saltwater. salt water is actually used to rinse the zeolite of absorbed ammonia to restart it. they say that zeolite only reacts in fresh water and is useless in saltwater. any comments? sana ma clear ng mga gurus
