Small polyps shown in blue tip acropora.

After two days in my tank, blue tip acrocpora starts to show sign of life. Noticed the 0.5 mm polyps shown in the pic. Though haft of its colony became partly bleached, others remained green. Magsurvive kaya to?

Another frag from chris. This is located 4 inches below water surface. Original color from Chris' tank is green. Wrapped it with wet news paper but it turned green brown after 2 hrs travel from San Pablo. The tip turned beige after one day.

1. with good parameters, mabubuhay yan. frag mo siguro yung bleached part if it doesnt recover.

2. i have the same frag, almost 6 months na. has totally encrusted its base on the rock, really cool. quite hardy. lagay mo closest to light, since it has very little polyps.

nanokiper: mukang ok pa yung SPS mo.. yung sa first pic, hardy yan. yung sa second medyo mahirap alagaan.. very sensitive.

Thanks for the support. Actually ang cause ng haft bleached ay nilagay ko ang blue tip sa discharge of low capacity powerhead. After 30 mins namuti kaagad so I transferred it immediately. The blue tip is same color pa rin even in the bleached part of the colony.

Peter, yong second picture is from Chris tank. It has been there for more than few weeks. Maybe stress lang talaga since di maganda ang handling ko.

Updates of blue tip acropora. The bleached part is gradually becoming flourescent green. Observed ko rin that there were polyps coming out from the bleached portion during night time. Chris, how's yours.
