Frag acropora from Peter. It is located 6 inches beloqw the water level. They say it should be acclimated pa sa light but I don't have enough space in my 18 gallon tank. I also dosed iodine to prevent infection. Anong appearance if it is burn due to poor acclimatization? Recommandation naman from SPS expert plsssss.

Another SPS, I forgot the name also from Peter. This located 3 inches below the water level. I drilled the live rock just enough to insert the frag but I did not use adhesive to prevent unwanted chemical contamination.

I placed the cheato beside this frag also 2 to 3 inches below the water level, tied in the surface skimmer to prevent from moving. Lighting period is only 8 hrs due to heat issues 29.5 C highest temp. reading during noon time.

IME, hindi yan mai-istress sa T5, its not as bright and as concentrated as MH. mas stressful ang MH. ano ba ilaw mo?

yeah, that is right. But hearing from nanokeeper during the GA, I am almost certain that his parameters are prestine. Initial assessment may indicate lack of light and flow, hence, my suggestion to look into these two requirement first

anyways, regarding calcium, it may be easier to maintain it above 400 for nano. In my set up, keeping it above 400 is pretty difficult, and kalk is no longer enough.

Everything deuce mentioned should be accounted for. Unfortunately, I have yet to see a magnesium test kit here, so in that aspect, we are basically blind

The pictures shown are 2 days after I placed the frags in my tank. Noticed last night that color turned brown and polyps are visible.

I don'k check water parameters for two years except for the temperature and salinity. I am using sera salt mix and since this is a small tank, I don't dose trace elements. I am doing 10% water change every two weeks. My soft coral and LPS are thriving with the present water condition.
