Hello reefers...may I just ask your opinion about these corals? particularly the Echinopyllia branch of the species...I've read that they are one of the "easier" sps to take care of...sino na po may experience in caring for them? do they need pristine water quality and a mature tank? pwede ba sa 4month old tank ko? TIA

No need to do supplemental feeding but they will take in food as well. Ive tried feeding Marine+ to my chalice before and seen them eat already. But IME, suffient lighting and excellent water parameters will be enough to keep them thriving. Keep in mind lang that chalice corals are an aggressive species and will kill or damage any other coral that they come in contact with.

maybe atleast 2-3 inches away from other corals.
As for nitrates, well they are pretty tolerant of high no3 but still try to get your no3 lower.

IMHO it looks damaged on the sides and kinda pale. So it might need better water conditions and stronger lighting to recover fully.
