Question on brain corals

Postby Randy51300 » Mon May 10, 2010 11:47 am

Just bought an open brain, a "normal" brain coral and another unidentified brain coral.

Pag lights on, nde lumalabas tentacles nila pero pag madilim nakalabas lahat ng tentacles nila.

Just read na corals must be light acclimated first. I have placed such corals as low as possible in my tank and i :? also covered the parts of the light with paper para medyo dim ang lights.

Ung tentacles b tlagang nde lumalabas pag lights on, with brain corals or nag aadjust p lng sila s tank ko?

Thanks for your replies :D

Tentacles of brain corals comes out at night only, they occassioanally come out during lights on when its senses food in the water i.e., like feeding time of your fishes :D , but would quickly retract afterwards.
Your brains are just fine.

Brain corals can host for the clownfish but this is unsual. The clownfish are usually for anemones, this is not bad afterall but if your clownfish has burned parts you should keep out of it to your brain coral. Don't forget that they are corals hosting can cause dying of it.

letting perculia lived with brain, the brain will die slowly. the area where the clownfish live will soon die.
