In that case, I really do have to make a separate quarantine tank. Can I use an overhead type filter if the quarantine tank is a FO tank?

for a qt, all you need is a large enough tank to be stable and small enough for frequent water changes 10-20g would do.. some pvc pipes and fittings for fishes to hide.. an airpump at least.. an OHF would do..

Skimmer kailangan pa? I have an extra aerator type skimmer now. Can I use that in the QT tank as well?

Would you happen to have a picture/sample of a QT tank?

Some updates:

1. Reserved a Beckette Skimmer package from MH c/o Wiley and Gener. Will get it within the week.

2. Setup 2 30gal quarantine tanks with skimmer and overhead filter. Transferred all fishes from my 29gal nano reef tank to 1 qt and put in some new fishes i got in the 2nd qt.

3. Tank design would be external side overflow to maximize viewing space as well as minimize obstructions in the tank. Design is as follows:

http://images.shandygen.multiply.com/image/4/photos/8/500x500/1/Aqua2rev3-1.jpg?et=FZstNqHHmfhwyqUY3zQH1Q&nmid=114569943

**Don't remember exactly whose thread here in RP I got this from but Thanks to him! hehe! :D

4. Purchased a 15inch LED rechargeable emergency light from a friend for moon light purposes.

5. Basic cabinet design of the tank is as follows:

http://images.shandygen.multiply.com/image/2/photos/8/500x500/4/6ft-tank-copy.jpg?et=X0FYbjTrL5Vc47RAQdZeAA&nmid=114569943

Sorry for the poor drawing! Di ako marunong mag autoCAD eh! hehe!

Currently canvassing prices of the tank and cabinet.

Now all I need is the sump design, the prices, some other equipments, piping layout, sand, liverocks, and of course the BUDGET! heheh!

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for not updating but I didn't go through with this tank (cause my wife didnt allow me to build a tank this big). Instead I went with building a 70gal cube tank. You can check it out in my thread at the members tanks.
