what's your monthly task

share naman natin yung ibat ibang task na ginagawa natin sa aquarium monthly or weekly

start ko na;
-every sunday dosing pro coral mineral as per manufacturers
instruction
-every other day replenish ng nag evaporate na water
-monday feeding corals with coraliquid
-every morning add calcium
-every 15th day of the month dose tincture of iodine
(1 drop per 20 gals)
-every end of the month dose strontium as per manufacturers
instruction

Saan makakabili ng mga trace elements like calcium, strontium, magnesium, molybdenum and iodine? How much and gaano kalaki container. thanks.

general clean up every end of the month.... linis lahat ng gamit.... skimmer, siphon dentritus... clean ng glass

5gallon water change every 2 weeks

1.Monthly scraping of coralline algae off the glass.
2. 10 gallon weekly water change.
3. Weekly change of carbon polyfibre and phosphate polyfibre.
4.Dozing strontium, magnesium, iodine and super dkh buffer.
5.Daily kalkwasser drip for top off and calcium chloride to increase calcium to above 400 ppm.
6. Phyto feeding and live rotifers (going to try and culture rotifers myself)
7. Weekly blowing of the sand and rocks to remove excess detritus.

I try not to touch my sand too much because it is full of life now. Just an example. I lost a few strombus conch but my tank never got poluted because the animals in the sand ate the conchs before it could rot and cause problems.

strontium and pro coral mineral sa bio research ko binili 200grams ang isang lalagyan tropic marin ang brand,yung iodine naman over the counter lang na tincture of iodine sa mercury

sa mizrach, 160 yung marinvit ng sera (strontium yun), almost 300 yan elsewhere. super reef iodine is 60 lang. di na nga ako tumatawad, baka malugi. lol!

mga sir puwede ba ang change of water is every end of the month lang para sa 50 gal. FOWLR setup. :D

pwede din naman every month lang water change. kung kaya budget mo try mo every two weeks water change.
a very lifeless and empty 180 gal tank and a dead 75gal sump.

tincture of iodine over the counter ata to sa mga drugstores. calcium naman meron sa bio research meron din sa cartimar. strontium meron din sa bioresearch. coraliquid meron sa cartimar. the pro coral mineral that i don't know where to find.
