Not enough flow/iron, for how much light you have. Increase flow, add iron, or reduce number of hours of light.

Hi, I installed one 2 weeks ago and my question is how can you determine if the algae in your screen is matured already and is starting to work? Does it have to be the hairy algae? mine is dark green. TIA

On a waterfall, dark brown usually mean the light is too weak. Pics of everything would help.

very interested in you scrubber method of filtration especially with the acrylic version. just one question, how do you prevent the algae from growing on the acrylic? if ever they did, doesnt this make the light less efficient if the algae grow on them?
