hyposalinity po in layman's terms ay ang pagpapababa ng salinity level ng tubig mo for treatment of marine ich. since ang ich ay sensitive sa osmotic pressure, madalas ginagamit ito kapg nagka-quarantine ng isda.. ginagamit din ito as a short term bath for new fish purchases..
kabaligtaran ito ng sa freshwater aquarium, kasi elevated salinity naman ang ginagamit (hypersalinity)
kaso, mahirap ang hyposalinity method kasi mahirap magtancha.. baka mamatay pa ang isda..
isang warning lang po: Wag Na Wag Gagamitin ang Method na ito sa reef aquarium! sigurado dead ang mga corals mo.. dapat may hospital tank ka (quarantine)
