maintenance wise, ang mahal lang is yung kuryente.. since 24/7 yung pumps mo.. lalo na pag may chiller ka.. regarding sa food, pwede ka naman mag DIY or kung pellets, always try to buy the biggest. mas mahal initially pero mas matagal mo gagamitin at mas mura siya in the long run.. example, pellets na 250g nasa 280 tapos yung 500g nasa 420.. parang ganun.. kung low maintenance, d naman magastos, palit ka lang water every week or 2 weeks.. depende sayo kung gaano karami.. top off ka lang para mapalitan evaporated water.

Depende pa rin sa magiging system mo, kung full blown SPS reef tank ka masakit talaga ang upkeep, tama si obet kaya magandang maginvest na sa energy efficient pumps. Yung mga DC pumps halos 1/4-1/2 ang matitipid sa kuryente kumpara sa AC counterparts nila.

Yung tank ko ngayon more or less nasa 1k ang monthly upkeep, kasama na yung para sa topoff, pagkain at kuryente. Kahit paano manageable pa yung gastos, yun nga lang mahaba-habang pagpaplano talaga bago naimplement yung system.
