Also observe caution. Such as not putting you hand inside the tank or touching corals when you have an open wound, Putting protective eye wear when fragging and not letting kids play with your tank.

Two species to look out for would be P.toxica and P.tuberculosa.

Anyways, use common sense when handling and fragging zoanthids, palythoa and any other coral or cnidarian: wash your hands thoroughly, use protective eye shield and use proper fragging tools. Would be a good idea to use gloves as well.

Also, don't be like the guy posted on the link above that boiled his liverock that had lots of palys

i cant help but to join in. Thanks a lot for this info. last year i ws admitted 2-3 times but mmc doctors cant figure out whats wrong with me and never told them that there are times i have cuts or open wound while handling corals or tank cleaning. to think that time wala pa ako zoas. only last month that i started collecting zoas.
ang hirap pa naman iwanan hobby na ito.

Ako ingat na ingat din when fragging zoas or palys, naka gloves at face shield. Mahirap na matalsikan sa mata or kung may open wound sa kamay. Tapos hugas 3times after.
