i would like to talk about your experiences of this coral ,because i read many post about elegance corals live only a few months especially from Indonesia, not quite sure about phil. elegance corals.
My experience with this coral is very easy until 5 months past the coral diminished, tried about 3 specimens,2 died,1 is slowly recovering until now survived 6 months already(from a 7 inch coral to a 1 inch survivor)fed it once a week but usually spits it out.

I have mine for more than a year and got another one ,with a different color, a few months ago. I don't target feed them but both are very healthy. I put them on a medium to high flow part of my tank to prevent them expanding to much, and that they could get morsels of food.

I had a purple tip for many years. Tripled in size. Was strong flow, low light, and lots of food particles in the water.
